Mr. Corey Clarkson has been employed as a Deputy Sheriff in Colorado since 2005. Mr. Clarkson has worked as a Detentions Deputy, a Patrol Deputy, a SORT Officer and is a Corporal. Mr. Clarkson teaches new Deputies and Officers at the basic law enforcement academy and is responsible for training his department in Active Shooter, Counter Ambush and Firearms. Mr. Clarkson has received multiple certifications in the following areas:
- CQB Facilities (Shoot House) Instructor Certification
- NRA Handgun Instructor
- Tactical Casualty Care for Law Enforcement (NAEMT)
- Cell Extraction Instructor Course (ACCJT)
- Patrol Response to the Active Shooter Certification
- Kaminsky and Associates – Field Training Officer
- Single Officer Response to the Active Shooter Certification
Corey has lived in Colorado 30 years.
Chief Training Officer
Mr. Jeremy Finkenbinder is a Colorado native and has been employed as a Deputy Sheriff in Colorado for over 18 years. He has worked as a Detentions Deputy, a Patrol Deputy, SWAT Officer, SORT Team Leader, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and currently serves as a Corporal. Mr. Finkenbinder teaches new Deputies and Officers in the basic law enforcement academy and is responsible for training over 450 sworn officers in Active Killer, Counter Ambush, Building Searches, Officer Survival, Firearms, Jail Incident Response, Suicidal Barricade and Patrol Hostage Rescue.
Mr. Finkenbinder received the honor of being chosen as the “Top Academic Instructor” in the regional law enforcement academy twice in 2017. Mr. Finkenbinder is certified as a Kaminsky and Associates Field Training Officer and has trained approximately 2000 officers. Mr. Finkenbinder is an Active Threat SME (Subject Matter Expert) and has received over 18 different certifications and multiple commendations for his actions in various active shooter situations.
